Postdoctoral position in immunology

A post-doctoral research position is available from June 2019 (2 year contract) in the team of Dr Jean-Charles Gury at the Center for Pathophysiology Toulouse-Purpan, in Toulouse.

The ideal candidate for this position has background in immunology and is interested in studies related to type-2 immunity and regulation of allergic asthma or response to helminths with a major focus on group 2 innate lymphoid cell subsets and their regulation by sex steroid hormones.

Experience with mouse models is requested as well as excellent capabilities with primary cell culture, cellular immunology, flow cytometry and strong expertise in molecular biology.
Experience with bioinformatics analyses will be a plus.
The specific details of the project will depend on the experience and interests of the successful applicant.

The CPTP is an INSERM, CNRS, Toulouse University research center specialized in research in inflammation, immunology and infectious diseases. It hosts eleven highly successful research laboratories and three core facilities (website: https://www.cptp.inserm.fr/).
The applicant should have a PhD in immunology or molecular biology and a solid publication record. Excellent communication skills and team spirit are mandatory.
